Small Ferrite Core for Power Supply Decoupling

A small ferrite core suitable for reducing RF on power supply lines in RF amplifiers. Simply wind a few turns of the positive power supply line through the core to prevent RF getting back the power supply and affecting regulation. 

The photo shows some 3A hook-up wire wound three times through the core. This is perfect for filtering low current auxiliary supplies and getting rid of unwanted noise. Also great for fans which slow down or stop when RF is nearby.
