Low Noise 1A Voltage Regulator Module 12-15V v2

This is a fixed 12V or 15V switching regulator module with a high input voltage of up to 50V DC. Perfect for high power ham radio amplifier projects using a 48V power supply, where a low voltage supply is required for fans or pre-driver stages etc. 

The module is based around the excellent LM2575HVS regulator IC and features a high efficiency circuit with a small footprint.

Our new V2 module has the following features:

- Very low output ripple with extra on-board filtering stage.
- High quality Low ESR Panasonic and Elna electrolytic capacitors used for long life and low noise.
- Compact size 60x30x19mm.

Each module is 100% load-tested after manufacture.

We've tested these modules with up to 50V DC input at the full 1A output and they generate very little heat (just warm to the touch) and have a very clean, low noise output. Each module is available in either a 12V or 15V fixed output (please specify this when checking out).

These are supplied with simple instructions, but it is assumed the user has basic electronic knowledge and soldering skills.

Beware of the cheap $1 Chinese modules using fake LM2576 ICs. Most do not go up to the specified input voltage or fail very quickly. They  also use under-sized inductors and low quality capacitors ensuring a noisy output and short life.
