The SHF-0189Z is a 6GHz high performance GaAs transistor used for low noise amplifiers.
High IP3 of 40dBm and P1dB of 27dBm.
Similar to a MMIC, the device can be used unmatched as a 50Ω gain block. however some negative bias must applied to the gate to prevent over-dissipation.
